The professional oil, acrylic and watercolor paints are manufactured using modern formulae, replacing expensive cadmium and cobalt pigments with combinations of organic pigments which are very similar in terms of color and properties.

The Ladoga paint set is manufactured using high-quality binders, but with less expensive pigments and a higher percentage of additives and fillers. The cadmium and cobalt pigments in the palette are replaced with similar colors. These paints are called analogue colors and are designated with the letter ‘A’. Earth colors (ochre, sienna, umber) are manufactured using naturally-sourced pigments (natural earth colors).

Ladoga oil paint palette: 54 colors; 46 ml and 120 ml tubes. Ladoga acrylic paint palette: 51 colors, 13 of which are metallic; 46 ml tubes; 100 ml, 220 ml and 500 ml pots.

Sonnet
The Sonnet range of artistic materials was specially developed for beginner artists who are learning the basics of illustrative and decorative applied art. The Sonnet range contains more than 1,500 named materials for every popular creative technique: painting, graphic art, modelling, aerography, calligraphy, wood engraving and more.
The Sonnet series’ artistic oil, acrylic, watercolor and gouache paints have been developed with the latest technologies using modern materials and formulae. They are made with synthetic binders and do not contain expensive pigments. They are primarily designed for those trying to master painting. We recommend using them for sketches, rough drafts and final year projects. The expensive non-organic pigments (cadmium and cobalt) have been replaced with light-resistant organic alternatives. While the percentage of binders, additives and fillers in the composition has been increased. This balanced palette includes the most popular colors for painting.
Sonnet oil paint palette: 41 colors, 4 of which are metallic; 46 ml and 120 ml tubes.
Sonnet acrylic paint palette: 36 colors, 2 of which are metallic; 75 ml and 120 ml tubes.
Sonnet gouache paint palette: 38 colors, of which 11 are pearlescent, 8 are fluorescent and 7 are metallic; 20 ml, 40 ml and 100 ml pots.

LADOGA ARTISTS’ WATERCOLOURS

Ladoga watercolours are made on the basis of a traditional binder - natural gum arabic, which is udes to be the best vegetable resin for the artistic paints. The technology of preliminary processing of raw materials is carefully observed in production.

The finished binder from each batch undergoes quality control strictly for the following parameters: purity and transparency, a certain viscosity, reconcilability with pigments.

Artists’ acrylic colours Ladoga are made on the basis of high-quality pigments and acrylic dispersion.     Artistic oil colours Ladoga are made according to traditional technology using high-quality pigments and a binder based on linseed oil. Paints have rich, deep colors that mix perfectly with each other. They have a thick, uniform consistency that allows to work in the heavy body technique of painting.

    LADOGA WATERCOLOUR PAPER

    Watercolour paper Ladoga is a drawing paper produced by Goznak with a medium grain size. It is designed to work not only with watercolours, but also with other water-based paints (gouache, acrylic, tempera) and in mixed media techniques. Paper of 100% cellulose and a density of 200 g/m² allows you to work in multi-layer painting and glazing, in dry and wet techniques, keep colors juicy, withstand adjustments. Paper folder has 2 flaps for easy storage and is usefull to carry paper and finished works.

    Palettes Ladoga are designed for mixing all types of paints: oil, acrylic, watercolour, tempera, gouache.

  • Made of lightweight and durable material - white plexiglass.
  • The smooth surface of palettes is easy to clean, resistant to most types of cleaners, solvents, varnishes.
  • They have a rectangular shape with an ergonomic curve for the hand and a hole for the thumb.

    • For comfort during long work in the plein air and in the studios, the hole is equipped with a soft silicone overlay.
