SONNET SOFT PASTEL

Soft pastel is distinguished by its velvety, matt and delicacy shades. Due to its soft structure, dry pastel is easy to blend and mix. However, because of these qualities, it requires special care during the working process to avoid arbitrary colouring of the working surface. Finished artwork has to be fixed with fixative in order the pigment particles do not crumble. Dry pastel is watersoluble, it is possible to apply it to wet surface.
